Treasure Hunt Is Here!

We’re happy to introduce our hotly anticipated game mode, Treasure Hunt!

Every day, we will have 15 treasure icons hidden in different parts of the Need for Speed World for you to find at your leisure. The map will show the general area where all the icons can be found. When you’re in close proximity to one, the treasure radar will indicate the direction and distance to the nearest icon. Once you locate a treasure icon, drive through it to pick it up.

A Treasure Hunt HUD will track the number of icons you collect. You can also keep track of your Treasure Hunt stats in the Safehouse Profile screen.

As Treasure Hunt is a daily game mode, it resets at midnight (GMT) every day. A clock found on the bottom right of the screen (below the mini-map) will help you keep track of your remaining time.

Collect all icons within the same day and get Rep and Cash rewards!

Introducing the Team Need for Speed BMW Z4 GT3

Winning any race is tough, but winning a 24 hour endurance race has to rate as one of the biggest achievements for a team.

We are proud to bring our Dubai winning Team Need for Speed BMW Z4 GT3 into our World!

Audi A1 Community Sprint Event: Race to Win!

Everyone start their engines for the first Need for Speed World Audi A1 community sprint race!

To win some cool Audi merchandise, all you have to do is complete the Mason Street Sprint event in a multiplayer race within 24 hours to be eligible. Everyone that completes the event will be entered into a random draw to win one of 20 prizes from Audi (including t-shirts, tote bags and jackets)

Easy, right?

Here are the rules:

1. Anyone with any type of Audi car is eligible to enter.

2. Drivers must complete the Mason Street event in a multiplayer race. Mason Street is a pretty varied track of sharp turns and stretches of open road, lasting about 2 1/2 minutes.

3. There is no tier restriction

4. There are no regional / location restrictions for this community event. Anyone anywhere in the world can participate.

5. Players are only able to enter one driver into the competition per account.

Contest period:

The race begins 12:00am (PST) Tuesday June 28 and finishes 11:59pm (PST) Tuesday June 28.

If you're on the east coast, the contest starts 3:00am (EST) Tuesday June 28 and finishes 2:59am Wednesday June 29.

If GMT is your timezone, the contest starts 8:00am (GMT) Tuesday June 28 and finishes 7:59am Wednesday June 29.

Winners will be selected by random draw of all entries on or about Monday July 4.

Today we introduce the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 - The Cop Edition.

This is Need for Speed World’s first rebranded cop car. It has some pretty rad features including a custom front bull bar, blacked-out powder coated BBS rims, wide body kit, carbon fiber rear wing, metallic paint, multi-layered vinyls and a slammed ride height. To give it an even more aggressive stance, the Need for Speed World team designed this Lamborghini Murciélago to have custom opened air inlets. With race tuned parts, this car will definitely stand out from the rest.

Audi A1 Customization Contest

The in-game version of the Audi A1 clubsport quattro could be yours forever!

To celebrate the partnership between Need for Speed World the free racing game and Audi at this year’s Worthersee event, we will be holding contests throughout the month of June and giving away some cool prizes.

From June 11 - June 15, we're running a customization contest on our Facebook. Drivers are asked to upload and submit their best customizations of any Audi in the Need for Speed World, (Audi A1 clubsport quattro, Audi TT RS, Audi S5 or Audi R8) tagging their picture with "Audi A1 Customization Contest". Need for Speed World will gather all submitted pictures into an online Facebook photo album. Customizations will be voted on by the Facebook community. The top 3 pictures with the most "Likes" will be the winners.
