Community Spotlight: Denis Chernov

The Need for Speed World Community Spotlight is back! This week we've got Denis Chernov telling us a little about himself.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Denis Chernov. I'm 18 years old and from Almaty, Kazakhstan. My nickname in NFS World is DCRACER777. I’m studying in one of the UK's colleges in Oxford. I am a hardcore gamer and I have all parts of NFS on my laptop and other games, of course.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I started playing in late October and am still playing because I love this game so much. My interest will not fade because this the best game where I can relax and race with my friends from around the world. It also helps me to improve my English and French.

What's your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

It is very hard to choose because I love all the cars in my garage. My Lamborghini Diablo SV and BMW M1 Sportcar (1979) are the best choices for highway races. I drive my Easter Lamborghini Gallardo and Valentine Lexus ISF when I want to find players who have great vinyl customizations on their cars. My Ford Mustang Boss 302, which I won from the Amazon Golden Starter Pack contest, makes for perfect drifting and enough power to win a race.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

When I first joined the game, I saw that players can play together in Team Escape. I made some new friends and then we started racing together. It was awesome because we all stayed together throughout the escape. We helped each other and nobody was arrested. Then after the race, we thanked each other. Since then, I always drive on Team Escape and I can say that I am a professional there.

What do you like most about NFSW?

Good car models, tracks and I believe that new locations will be added soon. Also, I like that we can meet people of different age groups.

What other console or online games do you play?

I have a PSP and PS2. On the first one, I like to play NFS games and Call of Duty. On my PS2, I also play NFS and other racing games.

Favourite cars/driving scene in a movie?

The first one is the second race in Death Race, when Ames on his Fifth-generation Ford Mustang, teams up with Machine Gun Joe to destroy a massive 18-wheel tanker with many weapons. The second is the race between Daniel and the gangsters in two silver Mercedes-Benz. Lastly, all races from all of The Fast and Furious movies.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I listen to Nickelback, Marilyn Manson and Depeche Mode while playing NFSW.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I am a student. When I have free time, I play basketball with my friends or we go to Starbucks to chat and enjoy good coffee.

LeBron James or Shaquille O'Neal?

I will go with LeBron James because I like his game style. Like in NFSW, each player has their own style.

But actually, my name is Nasrul Muhammad. I'm 18 years old and from Pekalongan, Indonesia. My nickname in NFS World is T33J33. I'm a student at one of the leading universities here and I'm majoring in International Accounting. I am a HARDCORE gamer, especially racing, because it's very exciting. Gets my adrenaline pumping.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I can say that I'm late in playing NFSW, which is about a year ago. But that does not reduce my interest in playing this game. For me, it's never too late when it comes to playing an online game. Moreover, NFSW is a world-class game. And finally, with effort, I have reached the highest level.

What is your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

The first time I played NFSW, I immediately fell in love with the Lexus IS F. Unfortunately, there are not too many people who love this car. I am also pleased with the Pontiac GTO - very, very American Muscle

Your most memorable experience in the game?

I really like the atmosphere of this game. My most memorable moments are getting to know people from around the world. To estatblish communication with them, even if you don't speak the same language. That also gives me a chance to improve my English which helps in preparing for my college final tests.

What do you like most about NFSW?

There is so much to talk about when it comes to NFSW. One is that a lot of people can play this game. Old, young, students, office workers, even my parents, irrespective of status. Everyone can try to be the leader.

What other console or online games do you play?

I have a PSP, PS3, and X-box, which I play on with all my friends. As a child, I also played SEGA, especially SONIC games.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

Definitely the race between O`Conner and Dom, with the safety deposit box and the Dodge VIPER SRT-8 in Fast Five.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I like the in-game music, but sometimes, I also liketo listen to The Script and Skillet. It brings out the spirit when it speeding in NFSW.

When you're not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I am a student. When there is spare time, I play basketball with friends, head to a cafe or hunt for antiques in secondhand stores. Everything is exciting. Experience, dream, risk, close your cyes and jump! Enjoy the Freefall!

Iron Man or Iron Monkey?

Of course, Iron Man! He possesses powered armour, which gives him superhuman strength, ability to fly and an array of weapons. Like NFSW, we need them all to defeat our enemy.

Community Spotlight: Kevin Boerma

Many of our players may know of Kevin Boerma. Not only has he been with NFS World since its Beta stage, he races daily in the game and is a member of World Garage. His love of learning new languages will come in handy when he becomes a globe-trotting photographer one day. My name is Kevin Boerma. I'm 16 years old and I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. My driver name in NFSW is NORMALAATSRA, which is also my profile name in World Garage. If anyone noticed, I was one of the winners of a few Tweet it Up contests! I have won 6 prizes, the most recent being the Amazon Gold Starter Pack. Don't worry, I've lost some RT contests and all the other contests NFSW has done, so the contest isn't rigged for me to win!

My motto being: "If you get what you want, it belongs to you. If not, it does not belong to you."

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I've joined NFSW during their Beta stages. I've joined CB5, even though I got no email from NFS or EA about my acceptance! The website just told me to download the Beta! I didn't receive a SpeedBoost code to redeem for World, so I started as a free player with a Nissan Silvia and a Nissan Fairlady Z [Z33]. However when the game was released to the public, I magically received SpeedBoost! I've reviewed every rental car with it and gave my review. I wish rental cars can return! I love to test cars!

What's your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

Anything in my garage to start with. I've highlighted the Golf GTI and Gendarmerie Mégane, which are the best in tackling corners with its FF drivetrain. They must have surpassed 2 Gs! My Donald Duck Aston Martin V12 Vantage cop car that I won through Twitter, recovers quickly with amazing acceleration, after power-sliding around a sharp hairpin corner. The GT-R SpecV is the best Team Escape car! The LFA is a fun car while the Zonda F is a demon. My first favorite muscle car, the Mustang Boss 302 that I won from the 1st Amazon Gold Starter Pack Twitter contest, is my real Gymkhana car. It can do amazing drifts!

Your most memorable experience in the game?

When Team Escape was released, a lot of World Garage members showed up online to test the long awaited pursuit mode. A few of us, including FrozenStar and myself took on Most Wanted. We've rammed others in the rear in case they were slowed down by the cops, and we all stayed together throughout the escape! When we entered Highland Trails in Rosewood, we split up on the dividing routes! It was so cool because we were synchronized so well. It looked like it was from a heist film! When the escape ended, we all spammed the event chat with the word "epic".

What do you like most about NFSW?

NFSW is always in development, so there’s new stuff every day! I hope to see new features and landscapes in the future.

What other console or online games do you play?

Need for Speed World is the only online game I play daily on my Alienware M11x. I also have ProStreet and a copy of The Run. My PlayStation 3 is loaded with titles like Ridge Racer 7, Ridge Racer Unbounded, Test Drive Unlimited 2, Driver San Francisco, Shift 2, Gran Turismo 5, and Midnight Club Los Angeles. Indonesia still has arcades here, so I even play Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune, Initial D Arcade Stage and other classics. I also try to branch out from racing games with Mirror's Edge and Portal 2 that I have in my laptop, and also Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in the arcades.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

The Lexus LFA is my obsession! I have been eyeing this car ever since its first concept version. Ten years had passed and it's still one of the most awesome cars on the planet! I hope to see it one day with my very own eyes. I am also a fan of Cannonball Run, as it had classic humor and lots of racing action throughout!

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I prefer video game music over most of the songs aired on the radio, especially from the legendary Namco Sound Team. They always make the best songs! But I like to anything, really. The genre that takes most of my time on my earphones is trance music, like Above & Beyond.

When you're not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I attend art college, studying photography. I enjoy taking photos, as you can see in my Flickr photostream. I hope to make a living as a freelance photographer one day. Other than that, I spend my time learning new languages. Currently, I'm learning French and hoping to resume with Dutch soon. Maybe I will learn Japanese too!

David learns more about himself every time he becomes Jason, so I'd pick Bourne. And who wouldn't be interested in Rashomon-style stories? Even Need for Speed Carbon was told in Rashomon fashion!

While some people don't know what they want to do when their birthday rolls around, that's not the case for this player. He knew exactly what he wanted to do and that was to start playing Need for Speed World. And he hasn't stopped since.

Hi guys! My name is Bryan Wong and I'm 14 this year. I'm from Malaysia and am an active player on NFSW. My in-game name is BRYANWONG. I am currently in 2 crew now: RsR-X crew and Transporter Motorsports.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I've been playing since July 2010. I can't wait to get more SpeedBoost for my birthday in July. Marc said big things are coming this July, so I can't wait.

What's your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

My favourite cars are BMWs. I'm a very huge fan. I current own 2 BMWs, the Z4 GT3 and the M3 GTS.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

My most memorable experience was when I got to meet new friends, hang-out at places and do other fun stuff. I mostly do that with the crews I'm in. You guys should really meet the RsR-X crew. You can contact the leader, ROCKKING100, in game.

What do you like most about NFSW?

What I like most are the updates to this game. It's the only game in which I've played which has so many updates and additions. Hopefully in the near fure, they'll be new cities and more events.

What other console or online games do you play?

I play on the Xbox 360 sometimes. As for online games, I play Team Fortress 2, Battlefield or APB Reloaded.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

My favourite cars are the Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari 458 Italia.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I listen to all the heavy bass DJ's and other rock music, such as Deadmau5, Dubstep, Dave Darrel, NFS: The Run music and some songs from Most Wanted.

When you're not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I'll either be playing my guitar, reading, studying or doing my homework.

Community Spotlight: Harry Dang

This week, we shine our Community Spotlight on a player who likes to play on the right side of the law. His driver name is 911Police911 and he was the second person in World to organize a police crew called World United Police Department. Not only that, but he gathered some interesting Police facts in World, like one out of every 500 drivers has the Police Vinyls and one out of every 1000 drivers actually make cop cars!

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Harry and my driver name is 911POLICE911. I made my own police crew called World United Police Department. I have a few members in it and i hope it'll grow larger and larger.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I've been playing World since the Betas, which was a long time ago and had a lot of fun throughout the years. Even when you had to buy the Starter Pack, I had a lot fun cruising around with my Charger Cop Car (but with no Police Vinyls).

What’s your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

Well, that's going to be hard, as I like every car! The Charger is a good heavy car, if you have some pro tuned parts on it. The Muricelago is awesome, a great Tier 3 with a lot of power. For Tier 1, I would say the Scirocco. It's small, compact and packs a big punch.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

That would be when me and my crew members engaged in some cops and robbers fun. I usually get rammed around corners a lot, when I'm a robber.

What do you like most about NFSW?

It would be the multiplayer aspect, where we can talk to people, make friends, and even organize a crew like I did! The new, well not new anymore, Team Escape is always fun! You can escape from the cops with some friends and just push around them around the preset route.

What other console or online games do you play?

I have a PlayStation 3, so i play other fun games such as Midnight Club LA, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed, Gran Turismo 5 and Grid. In most of these games, I usually just have fun with my friends racing around those tracks.

Favourite cars/driving scene in a movie?

My favorite? That's going to be easy! Like everyone else, I love The Fast and the Furious series. My most favorite at the moment will be the third one, Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, where they drift around the city escaping from the 350Z. I also like Gone in 60 Seconds where Nicolas Cage stole the Shelby GT500 (Eleanor) and drove all around town to escape from the cops

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I usually just "rock out" to the game's sound effects, but when I'm really in the mood, I take out my radio and listen to the local radio.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I go to school, obviously. I also like drawing cars. I'm the best artist in my class, only I don't draw it like the people who design cars. I just draw them 2-D style. Hahaha.

Jay-Z or Kanye?

I would go with Kanye since one of his best songs is ‘Stronger’, which I listen to when I feel under-powered. If I really need it, I would get out my PSP, which has ‘Stronger’ on it and put it on full blast while I’m playing Team Escape.

Community Spotlight: Adrian Fernando Noya

NFS World’s core demographic may be aged 12-24, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the game if you’re outside this age range. As proven by this player, at a youthful 51 years of age, he’s been a NFSW fan since summer 2010 and has over 60 cars in his safehouse. Tell us about yourself.

My name is Adrian Fernando Noya and I live in Argentina. I love to listen music. My first encounter with really good music was The Beatles. I really love to say that they helped me to read, write and speak English. I love to watch movies, play PC games, ride horses and motorcycles, as well as drive cars.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

May or June 2010. I got the starter pack and reached level 11 right away.

What’s your favourite(s) cars in NFSW?

My Z4 GT3, but i love all my cars. I have 63 on one profile and 19 free slots for cars. That’s my VIP account, HIGHWAYSTAR69. I have 3 more cars on each of my 2 other profiles and 2 free slots on each driver in the same account.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

It was when I beat a hacker using traffic magnets on the Rosewood Park Loop circuit. I think that particular hacker was using a speedhack. I couldn’t reach him with my pro-parted BMW Z4 GT3 and I activated all of my traffic magnets and added one more lap to see the hacker crash into the walls.

What do you like most about NFSW?

The friends you make! I have 90 friends on my friend list and they’re from all around the world.

What other console or online games do you play?

I don’t play console games anymore, ever since DREAMCAST short life , but I do play Team Fortress 2 and Gotham City Impostors. I’ve been playing PC Games since 1986.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

Fast and Furious, for sure. Favourite car is Eleanor, the Ford Mustang Shelby from Gone in 60 Seconds. Any of those classic cars that we see in pursuit scene in movies.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

School by SuperTramp, Dynamite by Taio Cruz, Let It Whip by Dazz Band, Issues by Escape the Fate or Higher by Taio Cruz.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I like to play BAL (Be a Legend) in PES 2011.

I love Mini Coopers, old and new. I missed out on watching the 1969 Italian Job, so I’ll choose the 2003 remake!

Let's get better acquainted with Igor from Canada!

Tell us about yourself.

I'm a racing fan from Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. I have my own small business, which specializes in cabinetry and kitchens. In NFSW, I am known as Canadapunk96 but my real name is Igor. I am a dyed-in-the-wool EA gamer and I have played many other EA games besides NFS games.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

My first experience with NFS was playing Need For Speed Most Wanted and since then, I have played all of the NFS games. I also managed to acquire a NFS 2 SE game, one of your earliest, at a thrift store.

What’s your favourite thing in NFSW?

That's an easy one, the multiplayer function. NFSW is probably one of your top games because this function enables me to do play multiplayer races and make some great friends.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

I have always had a great time with NFSW but the time I won't forget was when you started opening new street sections in World. When I first joined the server early in 2010, a good part of the map was closed to players with transparent blue walls across the street. I quickly explored the whole open map sections. Nevertheless, the game was still very fun to play. But then, just in time, you opened several new sections and the game got worlds better!

What do you like most about NFSW?

I really like the constant updates offering new cars, better customization, improvement of the streets and sound effects. Your dedication on continual improvement of NFSW is next to nothing.

What other console or online games do you play?

I don't have any other gaming consoles except for my PC, but I enjoy playing other MMO's like Lord of Ultima, Spore and Battlefield Heroes.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

I do not have a particular scene that I love but I am a fan of Fast and Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious series. The animation is excellent!

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

Modern heavy-metal-loving-music-critics will criticize me, but I am still one of those people who delight in Mozart's, Bach's, Watt's and Beethoven's musical classics. My favorite song, The Final Countdown by Europe, is on my Ipod. I listen to it while playing NFSW.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I have several hobbies, including woodworking, HO scale model railroading, boating on the St.Laurence river, biking and local travel. My most favorite of the bunch would probably be split between boating and woodworking. Also, I love to spend time with my black lab dog, Naida.

Football or Football (aka soccer)?

Oh, this is the easiest one to answer. Without a shadow of a doubt, soccer. Since I first played with my local summer soccer group, soccer is all the rage with me. I usually play either forward or mid positions.

I'm an 18 years old girl from México and I really love Need For Speed. I’m currently at level 50 in NFS World. Some people know me by my Youtube channel and because I'm the creator of the WG Comics in the site World-Garage. I like drawing in my spare time, whether of cars, people or cartoons.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

Since the beta number 3! I was so excited to be part of this game. I still remember my little purple Mazda 3 which was my first car I drove in that beta.

What is your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

Nissan GTR R35! I am a fan of all the Nissan cars, in the game and in real life. It's the perfect car for me. I love my other cars too, such as my Silvia or my 2000GT-R. These cars are Amazing!!! My favourite tier 2 cars are the awesome Subaru Impreza and epic Skyline R34. My favourite tier 3 is the Porsche 959.

Your most memorable experience about NFSW?

I must say it was when some World-Garage members and I were cruising around the new cities when they were added long time ago. It was my first cruise with them. They were so friendly, that they infected you with joy! It was very fun.

What do you like most about NFSW?

The Pursuits and Team Escape! I like to hit the cops and try to destroy them, while the pursuits gets me all competitive. How many cops can I disable now? How much bounty I can get in one pursuit? I love those kind of challenges, like the missions from Most Wanted. As for Team Escape, I prefer it more than races because it's more cooperative and doesn´t really matter who finish first, everyone wins!

What other console or online game do you play?

All my NFS Games are for PC. I am a PC Gamer, however, sometimes I’ll play games for the Nintendo DSi.

Favourite car or driving scene in a movie?

I like the cars from Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift. My adrenaline goes up seeing those beautiful cars drifting that way. I also won't forget the scenes of Bumblebee and Autobots in Tranformers: Dark of the Moon! I get goosebumps just hearing the sounds of the engine in that great city of Chicago.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

The music in the game is ok, but if I want to listen to something different, I play Rise Against or Deadmau5. I do not know if it's my imagination only, but the performance of my cars increases when I listen "Help is on the Way" or "Savior" from Rise Against. Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold and music from composer Steve Jablonsky are other options too.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

Drawing is my favorite hobby. I am a beginner when it comes to photoshopping, but it is really fun to try to make some awesome designs, photo-manipulations and stuff. Besides studying, I watch television. My favourite shows include Top Gear, South Park, MTV and Discovery.

Team Edward or Team Jacob?

OMG! I hate Twilight so much! But if I have to choose, it would be Team Jacob. Sorry, but I think Edward is too simple. He’s not “spicy” enough. I hope I don’t get crucified for what I just said.

Tell us about yourself.

Thank you for spotlighting me, it's such an honour ! My name is Hichem Mettiti and I’m from Tunisian. My in-game name is METTITI. Ever since I started to play Need For Speed Hot Pursuit in 2002, I became such a car enthusiast. I continue to play all the Need For Speed games. I love everything related to cars.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I started Need For Speed World since May 2011.

What’s your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

Well, I am a big Lamborghini fan, so I have to get the two Lambos in the game and I really like the Countach. Other than that, I have 7 cars in the game because I don't get a car that I don't like. The Nissan GT-R and the Lancer Evolution X are my other two favourites in the game and also in the real world.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

It's really hard to choose, but I do remember when I was once in free roam and accidentally hit a cop and triggered a pursuit. I was intending to evade as fast as possible but the pursuit continued and reached heat level 5, so I wanted to see how much longer I can make that pursuit last. It eventually got up to half an hour and then 35 minutes and then I finally escaped at 37 minutes! It felt so good.

What do you like most about NFSW?

Need For Speed World is very different from previous Need For speed games in that I think it managed to hit a whole new level in racing games, as well as, online games. It's a really good way to share your talents with other people in the game. The ability to show your accomplishments and car customizations is just superb ! Also, the game is more challenging than Need For Speed ever was. Single player was cool but racing with other people is much more rewarding.

What other console or online game do you play?

Most of my gaming time is on PC, but sometimes I’ll go on the Play Station. As for other online games, Need For Speed World is the only one I play because no other genres interest me other than car racing.

Favourite car or driving scene in a movie?

Transporter 2, when Jason Statham was driving the Murciélago while in a chase with a helicopter. The changing gears, the sound of the engine and overtaking those police cars was just amazing.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I quite like to listen to music from previous Need For Speeds, like the Most Wanted, Pro Street, Hot Pursuit 2010 and even Shift 2. I think they have a really good soundtrack, but most of the time, I just want to listen to the cars in the game.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I’m usually on Facebook and Twitter. I also keep an eye on the Facebook group that Obi Nkownta and Jake Neumann runs co-operatively, so appreciations to them. It's called Need For Speed World Drivers. I think is an accomplishment just seeing the amount of members going up. Definitely makes one proud.

Community Spotlight: Brian Jones

We get emails suggesting players to be featured in our Community Spotlight all the time, but this may be the first time where we got an avalanche of people all requesting one person to be featured. They all agree this forum member has contributed greatly to the NFSW community. If you want tuning advice, this is the guy to turn to. He’s even put together an easy to understand performance tuning guide on our NFSW forum. My name is Brian Jones. I live in Tuscaloosa Alabama and I’m 34 years old. I have an advanced degree in mathematics, with a minor in astrophysics. I have a tuning advice column in the NSFW forums, where I enjoy helping other players set-up their cars. I’ve also been playing guitar for about 25 years.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I joined the game soon after beta, so a little over a year, I guess. But I’ve been playing the NFS games since the beginning. I own every single one that’s ever come out. I even have my copy of "Road and Track Presents Need for Speed" on my Panasonic 3DO!

What’s your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

I’m a Lambo guy. I love my Murcielagos. I have 5 of them. But I’m keeping my hopes up that someday we will get a Pontiac Fiero GT in the game, then THAT would be my favorite car!

Your most memorable experience in the game?

The day i finally beat my good buddy Darkeye565 in a race. And I got him twice in a row!! Sorry Darkeye, but I’m really proud of that!

What do you like most about NFSW?

I love the community and really have enjoyed all the friends I’ve made because of this game. The racing is great too, but I’m here for the people.

What other console or online game do you play?

I play alot of L4D2 and Forza4 on my Xbox (because it has a Fiero GT in it)

Favourite car or driving scene in a movie?

Steve McQueen's classic movie, Bullitt! Hands down, best car chase scene in the history of cinema!

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I listen to a large range of music whilst driving, usually stuff that inspires me to go fast. Lots of trance music and a ton of heavy metal.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I’m usually at work or outside with my eyes glued to my telescope, staring at the stars. Astronomy is a major passion of mine. I could also just be chillin with my cat Mikey.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Quinton, aka "stretch" aka Tarentino! I'm 19 years old and I attend college in Oklahoma, USA. I’ve been in love with cars and racing ever since I can remember. Sadly though, I have never had any really cool cars but a really fun car that I owned was a '82 Civic DX Eagle Edition (4 cyl, custom 5 speed manual). Man, that car was fun!

How long have you been playing NFSW?

Hmmm, I think I started about 9 months ago.

What’s your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

Oh man, this is like asking me to pick my favorite family member! I love all my cars, but my favorites would have to be my Lamborghinis. I have one of each. My Gallardo is colored in the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni colors, and my Murcielargo is candy blue. I also love to drive my halfway-pro parted and dark metallic green Pontiac GTO but my heart still belongs to my Gallardo, it's just too gorgeous.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

I love the car shows that the community throws occasionally! Those are always a blast to attend. My favorite one was when my Murcielargo went up against the most amazing M3 driver I've ever raced. He drove flawlessly and beat me by 0.8 seconds in a 5 minute, heart-pounding circuit race!

What do you like most about NFSW?

The cars, hands down. I just love to buy cars, part them out, drive them endlessly and enjoy the amazing sound. To me, the car's performance is secondary when compared to the way it looks and sounds. I just love to cruise and do private races. I have 12 cars but plan to get more as I progress through the game.

What other console or online games do you play?

Well, when it comes to MMO's, the questions would be, what have I NOT played! I play LOTRO, EVE online, Forsaken world, Heat Online, TF2… I can't even start to list them all here. When it comes to consoles, I don't play. I’ve never owned a console in my life. I have always been an avid PC gamer.

Favourite car/driving scene in a movie?

I have always loved the Aston Martins in the James Bond Films, particularly the car chase with the black Alfa Romeo and the Aston in The Quantum of Solace.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

Ahh, my second passion. I love all kinds of music but my favorite is ambient and electronica. I love Falling Up in particular. I also enjoy bands like And Then There Were None, Anberlin, Abandon, Red, Demonhunter, Imogen Heap and a few others.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I'm a full-time college student, so any time not spent playing NFSW is usually spent studying. I do love to sing and play the piano when the mood strikes me. Another thing I love to do is archery. I have a couple of bows and I love to spend an afternoon shooting.

Hello everyone, i'm Arun Narla from India and I go by the name of PSPSTARZ in the game. My life is mostly studies and games. I’ve been an avid NFS gamer since NFS Hot Pursuit 2. I’m in the game every day and I’m always ready for some vinyling or racing. I’m a proud member of World Garage, as well. You can also find me on Youtube with the username Pspstarz.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I have been playing NFSW since October 2010 and enjoying every moment of it since.

What’s your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

My favourite car in NFSW...hmm, that’s a tough question. If given a choice, I’d have to go with the Aston Martin Vantage V12. It’s simply an amazing car, not too over-powered, not too slow - just perfect. I also love my 911 Turbo very much. The R8 Shift Edition also has a special position in my garage as it was one of the first ever cars I everbought.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

My most memorable experience has to be when snow came to World. It was truly a sight to behold. The decorations, the jumps… it was just amazing.

What do you like most about NFSW?

NFSW has a whole lot to offer and it really does stand out from the other MMO's out there. The concept of having branded cars and options like voice chat just opens it up to a whole other world. Most of all, the customization attracts me the most and makes me want to buy more cars and keep playing the game. Also, the concept of F2P is what I find really nice about NFSW. I’ve met some awesome people playing NFSW, such as Xenoz, F1recracker, Lambogtr, Box, Nevilles, Unique, 5inn3r, Dan and the list goes on.

What other console or online games do you play?

I have other consoles, like the PSP. In fact, I have 2 of them, a PS1 and a Wii. I try and buy as many racing games for my consoles as possible. I have all the NFS games. I love NFS Carbon Own the City the most and I fell in love with the concept of crews from Carbon.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

My favourite car is the original Lamborghini Murcielago, which I fell in love with from NFS HP. My favourite driving scene would have to be the cop chase with the Chevelle in Talladega Nights.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I listen to most songs, no favourites in particular, but my taste goes over various genres.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

When I'm not playing NFSW, I usually spend my time on the forums. I watch a lot of movies, mostly comedies. I’m a huge fan of Will Ferrell. I also watch a lot of TV. Some of my favourite shows are The Big Bang Theory and Family Guy. When I’m not doing either of those, I’m studying.

Dana White or Don King?

Don King! His style is just so amazing. I think he stands out mostly because of his hair. Other than that, he was great as a boxing promoter. I think he was one of the best of his time.

Community Spotlight: DeControl

Say hello to DeControl. He’s into all things Japanese – from mangas to J-Rock to import tuners, especially the Nissan Silvia. In fact, you may not possibly find a bigger fan of the Nissan Silvia in Need for Speed World, he loves that car that much! But what else does he have a passion for?

Tell us about yourself.

My name is DeControl. I'm from Austria and I love everything about import tuners and Japan. I’ve been a huge NFS fanboy ever since I played my first NFS game which was NFS II. I still love it. I'm also a huge Fan of mangas and animes, especially Initial D, Over Rev and Wangan Midnight.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I'm now playing NFSW since the last Beta of the game, I think. I still love to see the changes in the game and drive around with my S15.

What’s your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

Easy one, hehe. My most favourite car, and the only car I'm driving, is my sweet Nissan "The Rosewoods Comet" Silvia S15. It was my first car in this game and I'm still in love with it. It's just the most epic looking car in this game, but it's not my only car. I have around 12 or 13 Cars, and every single one of them are made in Japan, so yeah, i really love Japan.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

My most memorable experience in NFSW was when I joined Team Laterfire. I read about this crew 7 months ago on the NFSW forums. The first thing that I saw was "Import Tuner Only", so my first step was to visit their homepage and fill out my application. It was one of the best decision I've ever made in NFSW, right after buying my Silvia.

What do you like most about NFSW?

What I like most about World is the customizations. I could spend most every day just customizing my cars, give them my "Decontrol-Style" and sharing them with other players. It's always fun to see what other people do with their cars, especially when I see people driving around in Silvias.

What other console or online games do you play?

I play everything with drifting and Nissan Silvia cars. For example, games like CTRacer (I'm a beta tester there), a fully modded GTA-San Andreas and a modded Trackmania, the Arcade Game of Wangan Midnight and even PS2 Games like Tokyo Xtreme Racer. I also play games like Counterstrike, Brink, Crysis and stuff like that.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

The most epic car in a movie was the black Honda Civic in the first The Fast and the Furious. And the most epic race is the one from Tokyo Drift, where Shawn and Han got chased by D.K and Morimoto.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I usually listen to J-Rock like UVERworld, M.O.V.E or Abingdon Boys School.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

Well, I like to hang around with my friends, visit import tuner meetings in my area or do stuff on my computer like, web design, music production and audio design. I'm also a game designer in a small game called Equity-Fly.

Captain Kirk or Captain Picard?

I’d say Captain Kirk because there’s that one fight scene where he’s fighting an “alien-dinosaur” creature and that’s just too epic and funny!

Community Spotlight: Hammar

The first Community Spotlight of 2012 comes to us from a long-time NFSW fan in Egypt. His name is Nour but some of you may know him as Hammar. He’s uber-active in the community and his favourite thing about the game is meeting players from around the world.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Nour aka HAMMAR . I am 31 year old male from Egypt . I work for the U.S Marines in the Middle East as a translator. I am down to earth kinda guy. I don’t care what you have, or where you are from. I may be at level 50 and have a whole bunch of cars, but I also like hanging out with level 5 and level 10 racers, helping them out, giving advice and having fun.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I have been playing NFSW for over year now and I am proud to be a part of this awesome game.

What’s your favourite(s) cars in NFSW?

I own a M3 2004 SMG which is my favorite car. In NFSW, my favorite car are the Skyline 2000GT and the new Porsche Carrera S. I want to thank the designers for doing the best job on it.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

What I’ll always remember is when I won 3 pro parts from the Mystery packs. Also, the time EDC ( Elite Drivers' Club ) came together as an all star pro racers.

NFSW is the only game that I play all day, everyday. I fell in love with this game, even with its ups and downs. I am here to stay forever, until I see NFSW as the best game online.

Favourite car/driving scene in a movie?

That would be Fast Five with Vin Diesel and The Rock. Nothing can get better than this.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I am a Tupac fan but when it comes to playing NFSW, I like to listen to the engine sounds. It gets me hyped up to focus on car's sound effects. When it comes to Need for Speed car sounds, EA are pros.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

If I am not playing NFSW, I am either at the gym, at work or thinking about a new design or car specs that i can add to my NFSW garage.

Community Spotlight: Jose Diaz

The folks over at World Garage are so nice, that we just had to profile them twice! Andreea aka FrozenStar kicked off our very first Community Spotlight feature, so we thought it was only fitting that World Garage administrator Jose Diaz, aka LamboGTR, closed off our last Spotlight of 2011.

He's a huge NFSW fan, an even bigger Lamborghini fan (hence his driver name), makes videos, works as a computer tech and harbours dreams of being, of all things, a meterologist.

Let's get better acquainted with Jose from NYC!

Tell us about yourself.

Hi, I am Jose Diaz. Some of you might know me as LamboGTR or LamboGTRLM. I have been a racing enthusiast ever since I watched Nascar as a kid and dreamed of being a driver, as I’m sure we all have. Haven been raised on the streets of New York City, I witnessed a few Illegal races every night, however, I do leave the racing to games such as NFS. I’m also a computer technician that spends his free time as a meteorologist.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I been a fan of NFSW ever since the beta back in May 2010. That day made me an active PC gamer and I’ve stayed that way ever since. I went through two accounts already and have never regretted all the hours of game play I did. All of this time in World has made me learn how to edit videos, some of which you can see on my Youtube channel.

What’s your favorite(s) cars in NFSW?

I have always been a huge Lamborghini fan, so you can expect me to love the Gallardo and Murcielago. These two high rpm cars sound beautiful and looks to match. If the Aventador were to come into World, I would definitely get it.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

The game has given me so many memories but the times I spent cruising around or just ramming one another with the folks at World Garage has to be at the top. There’s something fun about being rammed by a car at 200mph, while laying on the top of a hill and landing a mile away.

What do you like most about NFSW?

I like the fact that it's just not another racing game where you race against AI and that’s it. In World, you can do pursuits, races, free roam or just chat with friends. The point is that it is pretty hard not to find anything to do in this game, as it is has a wide variety of features.

One of these features is the performance parts system. The ability to tune these cars however you want is pretty cool but you need how to tune them. That is the reason me and a friend created this Performance Guide guide to help out.

What other console or online games do you play?

Currently World is getting most of my game time. I do play a bit of Hot Pursuit and Shift 2 on the PC. As for my console, it’s been untouched for two years now.

Favorite cars or driving scene in a movie?

The movies from the Fast & The Furious series are very popular and I loved all of them but you can't deny that the chase scenes in Gone in 60 Seconds were epic! That GT500 was a one-off and the action packed scenes were very entertaining. It would be nice to see "Eleanor" in World.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I mostly listen to the in-game music while playing. I do listen to some dance/techno in the background at times, as it makes races more intense. The band Pendulum, which I discovered in Hot Pursuit, is one of the most common sounds you will hear from my speakers.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

When I'm not gaming, you will find me working inside a computer or tweaking it. Also, you might see me observing a storm and almost getting struck by lightning.(which has never happen, thankfully!) As you can tell, I spend most of my day in front of a computer and mostly at World Garage, quite the fun community to hang out with!

Community Spotlight: Chirila Ovidiu

For this week's Community Spotlight, we shine our light on a long-time NFSW fan from Romania. He goes by many aliases. Not only is a huge fan of NFS (Carbon is his favourite), but you can also find him chatting it up with folks on the World Garage website. Let's get better acquainted with Chirila Ovidiu from Romania!

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Chirila Ovidiu. I'm a Romanian guy and I'm almost 17 years old. I’m an NFS fan. My favorite game is Carbon. I love the canyons, the crews, the night racing, the cars list and so on. Such a great game! I can't wait to see some canyons in NFSW! PCs are my passion. I've sorted mine and helped others out a lot when they had issues, for example, no antivirus support.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I've been playing NFSW since the first beta test, which was on 5 March 2010. I'm proud to say that I was in all the next betas after that and I'm also a head start user!

What’s your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

I would say the Cayman S, my E46 which is a Most Wanted remake, the Viper, the Skyline R34 and the GT3 Porsche. By the way, here’s my BMW in NFSW.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

Tons of memorable experiences for me in NFSW, most of them from the first 3 closed beta tests. I was on TeamSpeak, along with Kaizeras, who is a former WG (World Garage) admin, NFSDrew and many others. Drew and Kaizeras were talking on it, both using weird voices in an attempt to do a video where Drew's car was killing Kaiz's at the Rosewood stadium. Unfortunately, the video never came to pass. Everybody in the game channel was disruptive. We asked them to leave that location, as Kaiz and Drew were recording but those guys continued to be a disturbance and Drew had to go after a while. Your readers may say that's a fail, but they shouldn't because they have no idea how much fun we got in that day! You can ask Drew too, he will confirm this story. As for a memorable experience which happened not too long ago, that would be the first "Spot The Devs!"

What do you like most about NFSW?

Simply the fact that it's a MMO. It keeps the NFS community connected. Not to mention the Facebook and the Twittter support, which is a great way to get more info and prizes!

What other console or online games do you play?

To be honest, I don't have a console and I'm not playing other online games. I would play Carbon online but there are not enough players for that. I did in the past though, and it was awesome! Pursuit Tag & Pursuit Knockout are also made of win. My thanks to WG members, who joined me on Carbon online a few times.

Favourite cars or driving scene in a movie?

Brian's blue and white R34 from 2Fast2Furious.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I listen to the in-game music. Not much to listen at but the static car song in free roam is really cool!

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

Occasionally, I play other NFS games. As mentioned before, I am also a WG member.

This week’s we shine the spotlight on D3NN15TH3M4N15. Or if we decode his in-game name, that would be Dennis Seifert from Germany. Dennis has been playing NFSW from the very beginning and is also a moderator with the German Need for Speed forums.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Dennis and I’m from Mannheim, Germany. I’m a car mechanic and I work for different manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Mercedes. In my spare time, I customize, tune and test my friend’s cars for them. I also race at the “German Race Wars”, sometimes at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and the Hockenheim Ring, which is only a few kilometers away from where I am. I’m a moderator with the German NFSW forum and also have my own NFSW Crew. Cars and tuning are my life.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I played NFS since it came out on PlayStation and Need for Speed World ever since it was online, so I guess, for a very long time now!

What is your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

I guess all Japanese and tuner Cars. I love the sound, the style, the handling and the power.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

I was in free roam shortly after beta, when NFSDEVELLIS crossed my path, so I had to race after him. It was only for 2-3 minutes, but still, a very cool moment. The “Spot the Devs” events are very cool too. The last time I cruise with Marc and Drew for almost an hour.

What do you like most about NFSW?

Free roam because you can drive as long as you want, wherever you want. Also the large selection of cars is very nice too.

What other console or online game do you play?

Sometimes I pull out my old Nintendo64 and play a round Mario Kart with friends or my wife.

Favourite cars/driving scene in a movie?

That’s easy! I would say the scene from the first Fast and The Furious movie, where Paul Walker rescues Vin Diesel with his Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX from the cops.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

House, tech-house, dubstep and some drum & bass.

When you're not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

Chilling with my friends, going out with my wife, enjoy life or modifying cars.

Robocop or Terminator?

Both are very cool and old school! But being German, I like the guy who is my neighbor, Arnold Schwarzenneger from Austria. He played the Terminator T-800 so perfectly. All the Terminator movies are gorgeous: muscles, bikes, cars, girls – what more does a man need to be happy? Thanks NFSW for featuring me!

NFSW Community Spotlight: Karia Wolfhunter

Meet Karia Wolfhunter! She may have been introduced to Need for Speed World this past February, but don't let that fool you. She's a gamer through and through and passionate about cars, World of Warcraft and NFSW.

Tell us about yourself.

Well most people know me as Lavara, but I normally go by Karia which is Elven for Dragon Hunter. Both of my names stem from my days playing World of Warcraft and other games like it, so I guess you can say I’m a super nerd. Either way, I'm 22 years old and a marketing student at Johnson & Wales University. I hope to eventually be working for a game company.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I have been playing since Valentine's Day 2011 when I was offered the Beauty and the Beast cars by a friend of mine, as an incentive to play. They were too awesome to pass up!

What’s your favorite car(s) in NFSW?

Well, out of the 50 cars that I own, I'd have to say the Dodge Viper is my favorite. I own 4 of them in the game. The Porsche GT3 RS is a close second for me however.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

My most memorable experience is still Valentine's Day. My real life friends quit soon after, but that day certainly changed me a ton. I remember losing every race that day to my friends while driving Beauty because I hit almost every traffic car there was. Needless to say, I still haven't improved much but that day certainly turned me into a NSFW addict!

What do you like most about NFSW?

Team Escapes. I love the thrill of them and it's one event I can't truly lose all alone. Plus, watching cops go flying when you hit them is the coolest thing EVER!

What other console or online games do you play?

Well, I already mentioned I play World of Warcraft, but I also sometimes play RIFT. I'm a Command & Conquer and NFS: Hot Pursuit 2010 fan too. My PC has too many games to mention them all though.

Favorite cars/driving scene in a movie?

I love all the Transporter movies starring Jason Statham. It’s hard to pick a scene from them but I do want his Audi A8 W12 from the second movie.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

Normally I stick with my favorite band The Calling - specifically the Camino Palmero album.

When you’re not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

Life. School. Lots of things. I'm just a normal human.

NFSW Community Spotlight: Steve Hunter

This week’s Community Spotlight features a gamer who has a soft spot for the Lamborghini, going so far as to customize the same Lamborghini Gallardo for when he plays Most Wanted and Carbon. He even gave the car a name: Galileo!

Let’s get better acquainted with Steve from Indiana, United States!

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Steve Hunter. My game alias is DI0G. I grew up just a few miles north-west of Indianapolis, IN. I have been a huge fan of the Need for Speed games since Need for Speed: II SE came out for the PC in 1997! I am a home electronics technician during the day, but I like to play Need for Speed World at night a few times a week or whenever I have time.

Cars are in my blood. I grew up watching Knight Rider when I was just 2 years old. I also grew up with radio controlled cars, including a nitro-fueled model I built about 10 years ago. I also played racing games like Mario Kart, F-Zero, Top Gear and then I discovered Need for Speed: II SE soon after we got our first family computer.

What’s funny is that I never played the original Need for Speed until after I got into NFS II SE. I found II SE interesting, because of the feel and realism. And there was also a bridge you could just fall off of on one of the tracks.

My favorite game to date is World but Most Wanted & Carbon are the best on the game consoles.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I have been playing NFS World since early February of this year.

What's your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

My favorite Cars in the game would have to be the Lamborghinis. I also like the Aston Martin Vantage V12 and Corvette too.

A lot of people tell me that the M3 GTR & the GT3 car's are the fastest, but what’s the point of racing the fastest cars in the game? I feel like that's a cheap win for people to have better cars than others on the same level.

The definition of a good game is one that is close and competitive. I personally don't get anything out of easy wins, except when giving people a race on tracks they haven't unlocked yet.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

I remember racing in my Z4 some months ago when I was like level 20-something and 2 other players rammed me from behind, actually now that I think of it, one car rammed me front behind and the other rammed me from the right. My car flew straight up about 40 feet with the nose/front-end up in the air. Then, I did a 360 before I landed because another racer had hit me while I was falling back down to the street.

One time, I was actually punted like a football up into the air in my Z4.

Many people have done that to 'pedestrian drivers' and cops in the game, but it’s really annoying when it happens to your own car in a race. It’s still fun though!!

What do you like most about NFSW?

My favorite part about World would have to be being able to race with other people online and car customizations.

I try to make my cars look very unique, using contrasting colors of vinyls, rims and even tint! But I don't do the same thing to all my cars - just my favorite ones!

What other console or online games do you play?

I used to play Star Trek: Armada II on the PC. I also have played other racing games on the XBOX 360, including Midnight Club: LA, Need for Speed: Most Wanted & Need for Speed: Carbon. I grew up on Mario Kart & F-Zero on the SNES. (yeah, I'm going old school there) I have played Halo and I really miss Blood Wake on the XBOX. I wish they had continued to make newer versions of that game.

Favourite cars/driving scene in a movie?

I think that the final race on the first Fast & the Furious movie beats them all. I also like the original Knight Rider series.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

As far as music goes, I don't normally listen and play at the same time. Sometimes people will invite me into a group and I can hear what they are listening too.

But I do like dance, pop, rock, some rap and R&B. Techno is a good genre to listen to while playing racing games. I really liked the game music in NFS: High Stakes. That is a unique type of techno!

When you're not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

When I'm not playing World, I’m working on computers and electronics. I also enjoy gardening (I grow bell peppers), astronomy, music production and composing as a hobby.

NFSW Community Spotlight: Jake Neumann and Jon Banks

This week's double-whammy Community Spotlight features 2 brothers who are both long-time fans of NFSW. The fascinating thing about siblings is how similar and different their tastes and preferences can be.

Let's get better acquainted with Jake and Jon from USA!

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Jake Neumann aka GARFORCEII. I am a 20 years old and a school bus driver. I grew up in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, USA. I own most of the NFS titles. For the ones I don't own, I've played it, except Nitro. My favorite is Need For Speed World and I try to play it every day.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I have been playing since the open beta started and I have been hooked ever since. People who think it is boring now, you have not seen boring. They have brought this game so far in the past year and they keep adding to the game.

What's your favourite car(s) in NFSW?

I have many favs but right now I love the T1 Skyline 2000 GT-R, T2 Mazda RX-7 RZ, and T3 Boss 302. All of them are slammed with wide kits and tall or body curve spoilers. But like I tell everyone, it's hard to choose a favourite from my 72 cars (perhaps more by the time you guys read this)

Your most memorable experience in the game?

Making friends and getting my 2 pursuits that lasted past the 1 hour mark. During the first one, I was on 4 flats for that lasted 8 minutes, while during the second pursuit, I ran out of time to continue. But I evaded on both!

What do you like most about NFSW?

It's hard to pick because of the never ending expansion, but I do like to edit my cars and do some Team Escapes. One thing I don't like is people who ram you dont realize that it is a team effort.

What other console or online games do you play?

I play NFS Hot Pursuit (2010), all the Halo games, Call of Duty Black Ops, Guitar Hero and a few other racing games. My user name in all those games are the same except for Xbox which is G4RFORCEII.

Favourite cars/driving scene in a movie?

I love the Corvette Stingray concept from Transformers: Dark of the Moon and would love to see it in NFSW as it is a concept. And my favourite scenes would be anything from the Fast and Furious movies.

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I like to listen to rock unless I'm playing the game from my car in which case, then I need some bass music. Get some use of the two 12" kickers in the trunk!

When you're not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

I happen to love racing cars on the track. In my free time, I like to fix and upgrade my personal car, a 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE, which already has a bunch of cool parts on it and a nice sound system. I love to play the game in there because it sounds really amazing. Racing/drifting is really fun too. I also enjoy building custom furniture, hanging with my girlfriend, chatting with my friends from around the States.

Delorean or Hoverboard?

I would have to go with the Delorean. I dig the doors! Sure, it's not so fast with a top speed under 90mph, but it looks cool! Also, I have never been able to skateboard and I might just kill myself on a plank with 4 wheels!



Tell us about yourself.

My name is Jon Banks aka VEXEVIN. I grew up in Billings, Montana. I've been playing Need for Speed games since the first title came out. I love every one of them. I play alot of racing games and by far, I've had the most fun with Need for Speed World, which I play everyday with my friends and family.

How long have you been playing NFSW?

I've been playing since closed beta.

What's your favourite car(s) In NFSW?

At the moment, I'd have to say T1 - 240SX, T2 - Audi A1 and T3 - 911 GT3 RS.

Your most memorable experience in the game?

Making friends.

What do you like most about NFSW?

It's hard to pick. I like how the game is expanding with new things on a regular basis. I love to customize my cars with vinyls. I never really got a bad comment on my cars. I try to "wow the crowd" all the time, so half of the reason why I play is to make my cars look awesome.

What other console or online games do you play?

I play most of the NFS titles on my PS3 and PC. I currently have NFSHP (2010) Shift 1 and 2. I've played other racing MMO's like Heat Online. I like it because of the many game modes and there's always something to do, but it does not compare to NFS's customization options.

Favourite cars/driving scenes in a movie?

Oh boy, lots to pick from! I would have to say TRON: Legacy with the cycle battle. Another would be Tango and Cash when Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell drive that Monster SUV. I would love to drive that in a TE on NFSW!

What song or music do you rock out to while playing NFSW?

I listen to techno and mix it up with a little rock and occasionally some stand-up because someitmes, I'd rather just be laughing than winning.

When you're not playing NFSW, what else are you up to?

Facebook! I also play on my PS3 or rock out on my piano.

Delorean or Hoverboard?

Hoverboard all the way! I'd figure out how to use it on my car - make it hover!
